What is Green Screen?
A green screen is a large green screen that is used for video recording to allow camera applications to change the background. To record video with a green screen, a tablet with a green screen application is required. A green screen is beneficial but not vital as a plain background will often work with most recording applications.
How can Green Screens be used in the classroom?
- Pretend Play – Allow children to play in different locations lick out of space, under the sea, different countries etc.
- Immersive Teaching – Teach a concept about a different place, in a different place!
- Storytelling – Act out a narrative in different locations that match the story
